The Robson Orr TenTen Virtual Gallery
A Government Art Collection/Outset Initiative
Explore The Robson Orr TenTen Virtual Gallery, the first digital way to engage with new works of art joining the Government Art Collection.
The virtual gallery is inspired by the architecture of the Government Art Collection premises at the Old Admiralty Building in London. Visitors can now navigate through the gallery to view works of art commissioned by the award and also purchased through the TenTen Acquisitions Fund, featuring artists including Sonia Boyce, Khadija Saye and Matthew Krishanu.
In 2021, Lubaina Himid joins fellow GAC artists with a virtual gallery presentation of Old Boat, New Weather, this year's recipient of The Robson Orr TenTen Award. Previous commissions by artists Hurvin Anderson (2018), Tacita Dean (2019), and Yinka Shonibare CBE RA (2020) are also presented.

About The Robson Orr TenTen Award
The Robson Orr TenTen Award is a major initiative from the Government Art Collection (GAC) with Outset Contemporary Art Fund, and is sponsored by leading philanthropists Sybil Robson Orr and Matthew Orr. Every year a British artist is commissioned to create a unique, limited edition print to be shown in diplomatic buildings across the world.
Through Outset Contemporary Art Fund, 11 editions of the print are further made available to the public to purchase each year, with 100% of the proceeds being made available as a new acquisitions budget for the Government Art Collection. This enables the GAC to continue acquiring new works, with an emphasis on supporting under-represented and emerging artists for the collection, two thirds of which is on display around the world in over 370 buildings, receiving thousands of visitors every year. About the UK Government Art Collection
The Government Art Collection, established in 1899, is a national collection of historic, modern and contemporary British art that is displayed in government buildings in the UK and around the world. These locations include 10 & 11 Downing Street, government departments and residences and offices of British Ambassadors, High Commissioners and Consulates-General in 129 cities worldwide.
The works are seen by thousands of visitors promoting British art and contributing to cultural diplomacy. We actively seek ways to widen engagement with Government Art Collection works with non-government audiences through partnerships and by participating in local, national and international events.
